On Tuesday, June 24, Innovation Hive hosted an interactive training event for preschool educators and professionals working with children with autism. The session was facilitated by three educators who had previously participated in specialized training in Skopje, North Macedonia. The event’s main objective was to strengthen preschool readiness and support smooth transitions to primary education for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) through the use of an ABA-based approach.
Through a combination of presentations, practical demonstrations, and peer exchange, participants became familiar with the project’s innovative educational kit. They explored assessment protocols, structured lesson plans, and the digital app—tools specifically designed to integrate Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies into daily classroom practice.
The Larissa training offered free participation and certification, underlining the project’s strong commitment to both professional development and inclusive education. The five participants attended, each left equipped not only with new knowledge and tools but also with greater confidence to make a meaningful impact in supporting young children with ASD during this important stage of their educational journey.
