Below, each deliverable is accompanied by a brief description to help you quickly identify the resources that best meet your needs.
🟣 A Needs Assessment was conducted to identify the key challenges faced by preschool teachers working with children with ASD. The assessment involved a review of the literature and in-depth interviews with teachers and experts in the six partner countries. You can find the results in the following report by clicking on the text or icon.
🟣 These task analyses and goals are a starting point for ongoing assessment and observation by professionals and should be adapted to meet the needs and abilities of the individual child with ASD. It will help to identify those areas that reflect strengths and those that need additional support, so that appropriate interventions and instructional plans can be adapted to ensure the success of all children.
🟣 The structured templates are intended to be used by teachers and professionals to systematically record and evaluate the progress of children with ASD in developing school readiness skills, and to plan interventions to support their specific learning needs so that they are better prepared for primary school.
🟣 The Lesson Plans complement the core Curriculum by providing structured ABA-based activities tailored to the developmental needs of children. Each lesson is carefully designed to develop essential skills, from following directions and sharing to managing transitions and developing empathy. By incorporating differentiated instruction, sensory support, and engaging materials, the guide ensures accessibility and effectiveness for all learners, including those on the autism spectrum.
🟣 The Ready4School Curriculum, an ABA-based preschool programme, is designed to prepare children, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), for the transition to primary school. Our evidence-based approach focuses on holistic development, encompassing cognitive, social-emotional and communication skills, while addressing sensory sensitivities and promoting self-regulation. By integrating innovative teaching strategies and inclusive practices, we aim to create supportive, engaging and accessible learning environments where every child can thrive.
🟣 Successful transition to the school environment requires some foundational, social, and self-regulation skills on the part of the child. The School Readiness Skills Assessment Tool is a valuable instrument for teachers and carers who wish to pinpoint areas of a child's strengths and those where they may need additional support to develop such crucial skills.
🟣 A powerful App designed to support preschool teachers and caregivers working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It helps to pinpoint areas where a child with ASD has strengths and areas where they may need additional support to develop crucial skills. These skills are carefully structured to emphasize the developmental progress needed for success in a preschool environment, paving the way for a smoother transition from preschool to primary education.
